Introducing Fall & Winter 2018 Colors According to Pantone

From classic shades of olive, orange, and red, to bright pops of purple and yellow, these are the colors to watch this season…

It’s that time again! We always anxiously await the day Pantone releases their Fashion Color Report for each fashion season, and this year’s fall color report is so beautiful we can hardly stand it! We were excited to see that some of our fall faves like deep red and olive green are joining us for another season, and we are loving the unexpected, cheery shades like a bright yellow-green and calming lavender that carried over from the spring and summer months.

Take a look at the colors we’ll be adding to our closet this fall and winter, according to the Pantone Fall/Winter 2018 Top Color Palette.

Red Pear (Pantone 19-1536)

This deep red hue reminds us of the burgundy tones that we always love for fall. You can find this classic color all over our stores, in everything from pants to scarves to handbags.

Pairs well with:

  • Neutrals
  • Navy
  • Pink
  • Grey

Valiant Poppy (Pantone 18-1549)

Another hue in the red family, this shade is much brighter than Red Pear, yet still full of depth. We are seeing tons of this color in stores, especially in outerwear and tops.

Pairs well with:

  • Black
  • Navy
  • Olive
  • Grey

Nebulas Blue (Pantone 18-4048)

This saturated blue brings just enough of a cool tone to the fall color palette.

Pairs well with:

  • Yellow
  • Reds
  • Greens
  • Pink
  • Grey

Ceylon Yellow (Pantone 15-0850)

A yellower twist on the classic mustard color, this hue might be hard to find in some stores, but if you’re able to spot it, it’s a must-have for spicing up your closet this fall and winter.

Pairs well with:

  • Black
  • Navy
  • Pink
  • Grey

Martini Olive (Pantone 18-0625)

It wouldn’t be fall without olive! This beautiful shade of green adds depth to any outfit. Some of our favorite ways to wear it are in a jacket, sweater, blouse, or a pair of pants.

Pairs well with:

  • Ivory
  • Pink
  • Navy
  • Neutrals

Russet Orange (Pantone 16-1255)

A cousin to the classic rust color, this pumpkin hue is a beautiful way to add some warm, earthy tones to your closet.

Pairs well with:

  • Black
  • Navy
  • Grey
  • Brown

Ultra Violet (Pantone 18-3838)

This vibrant purple was named Pantone Color of the Year 2018, so we are excited to watch as this cooler tone takes the stage this season.

Pairs well with:

  • Navy
  • Ivory
  • Reds
  • Grey

Crocus Petal (Pantone 15-3520)

For a softer touch this season, this gentle hue of lavender balances the bolder colors in the fall/winter palette. While it may not appear in many statement pieces, Crocus Petal is the perfect color for details and accents.

Pairs well with:

  • Blue
  • Navy
  • Olive
  • Reds

Limelight (Pantone 12-0740)

Limelight is a total showstopper. Bright and cheerful, this hue would make the perfect accent to any fall outfit with deeper colors.

Pairs well with:

  • Grey
  • Navy
  • Olive
  • Black

Quetzal Green (Pantone 18-5025)

There couldn’t be a better color to balance out neutral shades than this blue-green. This elegant hue is in tons of stores already!

Pairs well with:

  • Neutrals
  • Orange
  • Yellow
  • Grey

We can’t wait to wear these fall colors!
