When shopping for a back-to-school wardrobe for your kiddo, our first piece of advice would be to go for versatility! Not only does this get you more for your money, but it ensures that your little will be wearing some of those pieces as many times as they can before they (sadly) grow out of them. With there be so many adorable trends this back-t0-school season, we decided to give you a simple guide through a series of 3 Ways to Wear posts, on how to style this school year’s best trends multiple ways. First up, a denim skirt!

Here are our 3 favorite ways to style one for this upcoming season…

1. Go Athleisure

We love that the athleisure trend has trickled down to the tiniest of tots, and truly, there’s something great about pairing a trendy piece with ultra-comfy items that helps them look put together, while still keeping them comfortable (and play-friendly). Try pairing their denim skirt with a sweatshirt of hooded sweater and tennis shoes for the ideal athleisure style.

2. Trend-Centered

For the littlest of fashionistas, there’s nothing cuter than running with a theme when putting together an outfit. We fell in love with these kitten-themed pieces that paired so perfectly together.

3. Layered Up

Once the cooler temps start to hit, it doesn’t mean that denim skirt they love has to be pushed to the back of the closet. Layer it up with a pair of leggings, bomber jacket, and tennis shoes or boots for a fall-friendly outfit!
