5 Fall Beauty Trends to Try
Learn about the latest trends in makeup and our go-to products to achieving the ideal look!
Fall is just around the corner, and we can’t help but get excited about all the new beauty trends coming our way. This summer, being bronzed and highlighted was all the rage, but now that the temperature is starting to change, it’s time for our makeup to change as well! This fall is all about color palettes and being bold, and we are here to help you conquer these new trends for the upcoming season.
Deep, Bold Lips
The number one trending makeup look this season is a minimal makeup look, finished with a deep and powerful lip. We’ve talked about creating the “No Makeup, Makeup” look before, and the trend has yet to go away. This look is effortless and naturally beautiful, and when it is finished off with a daring lip, this look is unstoppable. You can either making a dramatic statement with your makeup, or go the minimalist route by keep it clean and precise with this trend. To accomplish this look, we suggest using a deep colored liquid lipstick such as “Sugar Plum,” or “Heathers” from Anastasia Beverly Hills, found at Sephora.
This season is all about color palettes. Choosing the right colors can completely transform your look to make it fall appropriate. For sunset eyes, it’s common to use burnt orange colors, and although orange may seem like a hard color to pull off, mixing it with a little brown or gold can help make the colors more subtle, and look beautiful on all skin tones. For this look we suggest using the loose eyeshadow powders in colors “Beautiful Autumn”, “In The Buff”, or “Pebble,” found at BareMinerals.
Bold Bottom Lashes
We’ve seen it on the runways and red carpets, but you may have never dared to try it at home. Some of us may already use mascara on our bottom lashes, but now, it’s time to make them noticeable. For this we suggest using a waterproof and smudge proof mascara, like the Better Than Sex Mascara from Two Faced Cosmetics, found at Sephora.
Fall is the season all about deep browns, reds and oranges – basically any color that imitates the colors of the fallen leaves around us. But this year, brown on the lips is all the rage. Whether it’s a deep, matte lipstick or a simple, brown tinted gloss, you can’t go wrong with this elegant fall look. For this we suggest using the matte liquid lipstick called “Boss”, found at BareMinerals or NARS lip gloss called “Supervixen”, found at Sephora.
Eyes That Pop
You see it trending in all of the high fashion magazines and runway shows, but it can be difficult to find a way to mend this high fashion look into your everyday life. You don’t need to cover your entire lid with a bright color to achieve the look. We found that smudging a pastel color under your eye, or adding a hint of colored mascara can make all the difference! Have fun and let your personality shine through the fun colors of your new fall makeup look. For this look we suggest adding a pop of color with the Marc Jacobs colored eye liners and mascaras, found at Sephora.
