In our neck of the woods, the transition from winter to spring can be well… A process. And although our minds are fully set on spring, Mother Nature isn’t making it so easy on us. Just because spring isn’t quite in full bloom yet, doesn’t mean we can’t bring in a few multi-season items that still feel like spring. While we anxiously wait to bring out our sundresses and shorts, here are the 5 pieces we’ll be rotating through our wardrobe during this time of transition…

1. Detailed Denim

We all know denim is a year-round essential, but we’ve been getting our jeans ready for spring by choosing ones in a lighter wash and with trendy spring details, like embroidery and slight destruction.

2. Leather or Bomber Jackets

Jackets are a must for changing seasons, but leather and bomber jackets in particular are continuing to make a statement through spring, so we’ve stocked up on a few fashion-forward finds that will not only be perfect for spring, but also throughout the year. We love throwing these over delicate dresses as we transition to a warmer season.

3. Statement Sweaters

If you’re still loving wearing sweaters from fall and winter but looking for an upgrade, there are plenty of stylish statement sweaters on the racks for spring. We’re loving the laced-up and cold shoulder details of the many we’ve seen in our stores. Swap your pants for a pair of shorts when the weather starts warming up to keep this key piece in your spring wardrobe rotation.

4. Stylish Sneakers

We’ve mentioned the big statement sneakers are going to make this spring a time or two, so we had no hesitation adding them to our top 5 transition pieces. They’re a great way to keep your feet cozy, while still putting a little spring in your step!

5. Trench Coats

Trench coats have been around for decades, but they’ve recently started showing up more and more as we head into spring. Although most would think a trench coat would be strictly an outerwear piece, we love adding them into an everyday look!
